Rubber is common material which is used in day to day life. Raw material of rubber is converted to modified rubber after all processes has done. By using the automatic process makes the output efficient and increase quality. We can obtain finished rubber in required form.
The Process of Rubber making is as follows: Once the raw rubber material reached the Factory it goes through the standard process to make the required Quality of rubber. And the Process is as follows:
Compounding: Compounding adds chemicals and other additives to customize the rubber for the intended use.
Mixing: The additives must be thoroughly mixed into the rubber. The high viscosity (resistance to flow) of the rubber makes mixing difficult to accomplish without raising the temperature of the rubber high enough (up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit) to cause vulcanization.
Shaping: Shaping rubber products occurs using four general techniques: extrusion, calendaring, coating or molding, and casting. More than one shaping technique may be used, depending on the final product.
Vulcanizing: Vulcanization completes the rubber-production process. Vulcanization creates the cross-connections between the polymers of rubber, and the process varies depending on the requirements of the final rubber product.
As the process of making rubber is a complex process, and also very dangerous process because of the Chemicals used and the Smell. As the person has to wear the all the safety equipment when the process is going on. Stability Automation has used a Automation process for controlling the machine from a distance. As PLC and HMI controls the operation, Load Cell is used to know the weight of chemicals which is to be added in the process. And different sensors are used to control the other parameters like valves, steam, etc. Thus, the whole process is automated controlled using Automation system.
