Compressors are mechanical devices used to increase pressure in a variety of compressible fluids, or gases, the most common of these being air. To increase the performance of the Compressor, Stability Automation has developed an application to monitor the parameters. Which will help the User to understand the performance of the system.
The basic components of the compressor are the electric motor, pump, and receiver. The receivers can be vertical or horizontal and have different size and capacity. An electric Motor powers the compressor pump. The motor then drives a pulley via two belts, which help in transferring power from motors to the pump pistons through a flywheel and crankshaft. The flywheel fan helps cool the compressor pump. And the basic parameters to be measured in any compressor is:
1. Pressure
2. Temperature
3. Vibration
4. RPM
5. Load
Stability Automation has developed a Cost-effective SCADA solution by using LabVIEW Software to measure all the above-mentioned parameters. And the User can get a detailed report in .CSV or PDF format for the Audit Trials as well. The Software can be accessed by the defined Users in it. This Software will help the user the understand the performance of the compressor system.
