Barcode system used to implement the quality assurance and control of engine production. The customer produces several engine variants on one assembly line. Barcodes Scanner read and identify the current engine variant to reduce the Human Mistakes in the process.
In transaxle line we find out different variants of Engine are assembled. At the end of the line, for different engines different Oil Filling Station are there and the operator gets confused which Oil has to be filled in the engine. To solve this problem Stability Automation has developed a Poke-Yoke Solution to identify the current engine and to fill the correct oil or bypassed the system. We have used Barcode system to identify the current engine on the Oil Filling Station. According to the current engine the respective Oil Filling motor will be ON or else it will be bypassed and sent to another station or to the next process of assembling.
The system can thus assign the picking containers to the correct engine and enable the production of several engine variants on a single assembly line. This provides the automotive manufacturer with complete statistical data about production, enabling error accumulations and their sources to be identified and rectified systematically.
