Summary:

RFID Systems can provide ways to design and implement relatively inexpensive systems particularly for security aspects. We have proposed a digital access control system that can be employed to Machines in Manufacturing Industry where none but people with authenticated credentials can access. Authetication & Access Provide more visibility in Manufacturing and Implementation of RFID with 21CFR Part11 Compliance in Pharma gives better results in drug manufacturing process.

Solution:

RFID technology makes use of electromagnetic waves to capture and read transmitted data; the information is electronically stored on a tag that is attached to an object or to the carrier, and that tag’s chip is activated to share its information when it’s near a reader. These tags can be detected from several feet away by the receiver, making them useful in access control for machines with many cardholders.

The access control software system is able to read the data taken from the signal received from each RFID reader and can both accept and deny their request to access a certain amenity based on access levels or specific permissions. Access panels, which are parent devices that control card readers and make grant and deny decisions, allow for easy integration with RFID readers. Access control panel hardware is needed to open the lock or door, which is only done when the proper access is granted to each authorized cardholder.

RFID access control readers are interfaced with PLC and HMI system of Machine and all these are connected in network and communicated with Central software to monitor activities and reportin.Local machine operator can able to login and logout with access card without entering text and previllage will be provided based on user to operate machine. All these reports and softwares developed as per Pharma 21CFRPart11 Compliace such as Pasword Policy, Audit Trials, etc., details of system as shown below.

The information provided by the system modules is maintained in a database inside the Server. The database keeps record of user history including check-in time and check-out time.
