Summary:

Reverse osmosis (RO) in process water treatment applications and considers the process itself, the use of reverse osmosis membranes, and factors affecting water quality and plant performance. Reverse osmosis is a process that industry uses to clean water, whether for industrial process applications or to convert brackish water, to clean up wastewater or to recover salts from industrial processes.

Solution:

The system can be operated in following modes which is given below:

Manual Mode:

In Manual mode; all individual operation of the system can be performed through the OIU i.e. all pumps on/off, S.V open and close movements. For the maintenance and individual operation of each part, the option of Manual Mode of operation is provided. It enables operator to check each part individually. For running machine in manual mode, a 2-Position Selector Switch is provided on the Main Control. After selecting “Manual Mode”, the machine is ready to work in Manual Mode.

Auto Mode:

In Auto mode; the operation of the various modules is integrated through the PLC to allow fully automatic operation of the system. For enabling the auto mode option of the machine Selector Switch on control desk should be switched to Auto Mode. In auto mode, whole operation will be completed automatically. Here the positioning of each part is taken care and monitored by PLC. It also takes care of safe machine operation as well.

CIP Mode: The required ingredients are mixed in the CIP tank then valves as per the line are opened. From the CIP selection mode in the HMI we move to the CIP operation screen. The time setting has to be set. After opening the required valves press the start Button to start the CIP Pump. The after that delay the pumps gets stopped automatically. If in any case you need to stop the cycle before that delay, stop provision is also there. Thus, this CIP cleaning can be done.
